Dolce Vita Farmer’s Market Tour & Tuscan Tasting
a taste of local Florentine culture & seasonality
It is impossible to think about Italy without thinking of delicious Italian food. Food is at the heart of Italian gatherings, and at these gatherings, we’re always talking about what we’ll eat at our next meal. I’ve always LOVED pasta so much that I decided to move to Italy and pursue a culinary career and learn from the experts on how to make fresh pasta. I’ve been living in Italy for 9 years (and counting!), and the farmer’s market has become like my second home. I want to share some of my special spots, how locals shop, and a highly curated food walk of some very special bites.

Tour & Tasting
Join me in Sant’Ambrogio, one of Florence’s most beloved neighborhoods and the heart of local life. It’s where I spend most of my days shopping for clients, teaching classes, and gathering inspiration for my menus…and now, I’m inviting you to experience it through my eyes.
We’ll start the morning the Florentine way, with a cappuccino at my favorite neighborhood spot. Then we’ll explore the bustling Sant’Ambrogio Market (as featured on Stanley Tucci’s show!) and discover the most amazing, vibrant seasonal produce, local cheeses, cured meats, and other hidden gems.
As we wander, I’ll introduce you to my friends…the market vendors I’ve known since moving here in 2016 and are my buddies now, share stories, tasting tips, and insights about Florentine food culture. These bites are better than what you’ll find in most restaurants and give you an authentic taste of daily life in Florence.
To end on a sweet note, we’ll enjoy some traditional biscotti and a scoop of heavenly gelato, the perfect finish to a delicious and local morning in Florence.
